- September 2011 - There are times in agri-culture when too little crop can mean a good thing for farmers and food producers but discouraging news for consumers. This is where California’s wine industry is now, according to a recent report by research-ers at UC Davis’ Graduate School of Management.
- August 2011 - Training/Orientation started in the Southern Region this year with the first class in Fresno on July 27. The Northern Region followed with training on August 3rd. 100 employ-ees were introduced to the Inspection procedure, Per-sonnel Policies & Disci-pline, Safety, Compliance, and Injury and Illness Pre-vention Program.
- Oct/Nov 2009 - Working under cold conditions can lead to various injuries or health concerns, which are collectively known as cold stress. Employees can do their part to prevent cold stress. Proper insulation and good ventilation is critical for clothing worn during cold stress exposures.
- Aug/Sep 2009 - Inspectors of the Winegrape Program have been very busy since July 30th testing and certifying the numerous loads of grapes being processed for wine in California. Inspection has been quite typical for this time of year, we are about a third of the way towards the 2.2 million tons of grapes expected this season.
- Mid Season 2007 - Training for the 2007 Season began in Fresno with orientation on July 17th , Modesto District was trained on July 26th , followed by the Central Coast on August 8th. 115 employees were successfully introduced to Winegrape Inspection Program’s Personnel Policies, the Inspection Procedure and the Illness and Injury Prevention Program.
July 2007 - The Winegrape Inspection should definitely not be considered the new kid on
the block around the California wine industry. The Inspection Program has been providing impartial certification for nearly 70 years.
